=============================== -*- Text -*- User-visible changes in GZigZag =============================== The 0.6 Series ============== 0.6.3 (2002-03-07) ----- The following features have been added: - A PUICOPYRANK action (bound by default to Ctrl-Alt-C) has been added. It copies the cell contents along the y-dimension rank to the PUI clipboard, inserting newlines between cells. The following features have been improved: - The Row and Column views have been fixed to show the dimensions always. Previously, in some common cases the dimensions were hidden under the cells shown by the views. - The Ball-and-Strick cell view now does line breaking. - The Prez (presentation) module has been changed so that its view now uses the dimension settings (x, y and z axis) instead of fixed dimension names (d.1, d.2 and d.3), and to work with circular ranks. The following bugs have been fixed: - The mindmapping module is now included in the official jars. - Documentation/index.html had a HTML error; this is now fixed. 0.6.2 (2002-02-16) ----- A bug that made GZigZag not run on Java 1.2 and above has been fixed. GZZ does not compile correctly with IBM's jikes 1.15 now; Sun's javac works (you may also want to try jikes 1.14). The following new features have been added: - Asko Soukka's MindSundew and MindSun views, providing a mindmapping-like interface to the ZZ structure. They works together nicely with the common key bindings. You can find them under AllViews after creating a new space, or re-generating the system part of an old space using the '-new' command line option. Note that these views are only available in versions of GZigZag that include this module. The following features have been improved: - The row/column views show like they did previous to version 0.3.0, again. 0.6.1 (2001-08-17) ----- Flowing Clang has been brought back to life (it wasn't included in some previous releases due to lack of interest). The following new features have been added: - The EDITHACK action (found on the actions list), which allows opening a window for text editing. Java's AWT classes are used, which have support for mouse selection, the PUI clipboard, and entering Japanese characters, among other things. (For internal reasons, the text window is not automatically re-opened when the client starts again; the EDITHACK action has to be executed again.) 0.6.0 ----- Support for the old "PersistentDimSpace" file format has been removed.
