I got a report that Firestar on some Windows machines is freezing when trying to convert mp3 files. The user who reported this tried running the same commands manually that Firestar runs and the file was processed just fine. Importing a wav into the playlist worked fine as well if I am understanding him correctly. I could not get any further useful information, the user's computer appeared to be set up correctly and Firestar was fully up-to-date.
Windows 11. 2012 visual studio crt's installed.

External report from Github, seems it's more broken than I thought.
Hi, I thought I just leave that here:
1.) Firestar doesn't like converting mp3 files at all. The tracks don't play ingame.
However if I convert them to .at9 beforehand and then let Firestar write them into the .psarc everything works as it should.
Normalize doesn't work either. I normalize the songs beforehand in a different program.
2.) The lobby music doesn't work either way. Sadly .at9 doesn't do the trick here (I assume the lobby music is the hexagonal overview where the Kraftwerk song is playing and you choose your track.).
Still custom music and XP patch have been awesome. Thanks for your time and work.
That's several reports now. I should probably get on this soon.
